The citizens and guests of Mifflinburg will be receiving a special visitor - General George Gordon Meade. Although General Meade was born in Cadiz, Spain, he was one of Philadelphia's favorite citizens. Professor Andy Waskie of Temple University ill be portraying General Meade and discussing General Meade's life and times at the two different locations. General Meade and his wife will be received at a private reception at the Buggy Museum Saturday evening.
